A growing advisory business within the professional services market is looking to engage a commercially credible dealmaker to help drive and close high-value transactions. This is a sales-led role focused on relationship management, negotiation, and guiding buyers and sellers through the M&A process. It is not a technical corporate finance or due diligence position.

The business is particularly interested in exited founders from the professional services sector who understand how to build trust with business owners and confidently manage commercial conversations. Individuals from other sectors with strong Sales, M&A or high ticket deal-closing experience will also be considered.

The Role

As an M&A Deal Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing relationships and helping transactions progress from initial discussions through to completion. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading buyer and seller meetings throughout live transactions
  • Managing commercial conversations and negotiations
  • Building trust with founders and senior decision-makers
  • Keeping deals moving and maintaining stakeholder engagement
  • Working alongside legal and finance teams during transactions
  • Acting as the commercial lead across active opportunities

This is a consultative sales role centred around communication, influence, and deal management rather than technical analysis.
