About the Role: Our client is seeking an ambitious and technically skilled Personal Tax Manager to join their Central London practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, lead tax projects, and develop your career within a dynamic and growing firm in the heart of the capital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review personal, trust, and estate tax returns, including complex CGT and IHT matters.
- Provide proactive tax planning advice, including income structuring, business restructuring, share schemes, and R&D/EIS/SEIS projects.
- Handle HMRC correspondence, enquiries, voluntary disclosures, and compliance matters.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members; review and approve their work.
- Manage portfolio billing, WIP, and client relationships; contribute to business development and cross-selling opportunities.
Requirements:
- ATT or CTA qualified (or part-qualified with substantial experience).
- 5–7 years' UK personal tax experience managing complex client portfolios.
- Strong technical knowledge of income tax, CGT, IHT, trusts, and estates.
- Experience supervising junior staff and providing client-facing advisory services.
Desirable: ACA/ACCA, non-domicile/international tax, and share scheme experience.
