A leading independent UK accountancy practice is seeking a Business Solutions Supervisor to join its growing advisory and accounts team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified practice professional to work closely with a specialist Sports & Media client portfolio, supporting high-profile individuals, owner-managed businesses and creative sector clients.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounts and tax services within a fast-paced, advisory-led environment. The role offers exposure to complex personal and corporate tax matters, with particular focus on sports and media clients.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Service Assistant Manager role:
- Manage and review personal tax returns for high-profile and complex clients.
- Support the Sports and Media portfolio with tax and accounts compliance work.
- Review partnership accounts and liaise with clients on financial information.
- Act as a trusted point of contact, building strong and long-term client relationships.
- Assist with company secretarial duties, billing, and WIP management.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure a joined-up and value-added client service.
- Represent the firm at client meetings and networking events as required.
About You
- ACCA or ATT qualified (or equivalent) with at least 4 years' UK practice experience.
- Strong experience reviewing personal tax returns and small company accounts.
- Understanding of PAYE and overseas tax considerations relevant to sports or media professionals is highly desirable.
- Confident using Excel and Word, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and take ownership of client delivery.
