Working directly alongside the firm's owner, the successful Accounts & Audit Manager will play a key role in servicing a loyal portfolio of owner‑managed businesses.

This is a hands‑on position offering genuine autonomy, exposure to all aspects of practice, and a clear opportunity to become an integral part of the firm's future.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Managing and delivering financial audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for owner‑managed limited companies.
  • Completing corporation tax returns and supporting compliance work.
  • Preparing personal tax returns.
  • Assisting with VAT returns and advising clients on day‑to‑day accounting matters.
  • Supporting payroll processes where required.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, building strong long‑term relationships.
  • Working closely with the firm's owner on the continued development of the practice.

  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Strong UK practice experience with a solid audit background.
  • Experience preparing accounts, audit work and personal tax returns.
