We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join our team in Pinner. This role offers a competitive salary of £58,000-£65,000 and is ideal for someone who enjoys managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing strategic financial advice. You will play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and other financial reports.
- Review and sign off accounts prepared by junior staff to ensure quality and compliance.
- Provide tax planning advice and liaise with clients regarding corporation tax, personal tax, and other compliance matters.
- Assist clients with financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit and assurance work as required.
- Mentor and train junior accountants, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting, taxation, and audit processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
