Our client is a progressive and dynamic chartered accountancy practice based in Pinner with over 25 years of experience. Our team of 25 takes a proactive approach that drives forward our clients' financial and business interests, within a caring and confidential environment. They pride themselves on being accessible and loyal to each client's unique circumstances, with particular specialism in pharmacy, dentistry, medical, retail and construction sectors.
Responsibilities
- Managing your own portfolio of clients, acting as their primary contact and trusted advisor.
- Preparing and reviewing accounts, including statutory accounts that have been worked up from outsourced bookkeeping.
- Reviewing management accounts and financial information prepared by the outsourced team.
- Liaising with clients to understand their businesses and providing practical advice on financial and business matters.
- Supervising and reviewing work from junior team members and outsourced staff.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and liaising with clients on tax planning matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication.
- Ensuring all deadlines are met and work is completed to the highest technical standards.
- Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients' business growth.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience with substantial practice experience).
- At least 3-4 years of experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and review.
- Confident managing client relationships and dealing with queries independently.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive, solutionsâfocused approach to problemâsolving.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience reviewing work from outsourced or offshore teams would be beneficial.
- CCH software experience is desirable but not essential.
