- Leading onsite audit teams and ensuring high-quality delivery
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Developing your understanding of clients and their businesses
- Coaching and supporting trainees and Semi Seniors
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of audits, including owner-managed businesses, while continuing to develop both your technical and leadership skills.
Who would suit this role?
The ideal candidate will:
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- Have solid external audit experience
- Have experience working across a varied client portfolio
- Be confident leading audit teams and communicating with clients
- Have strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Enjoy developing and supporting more junior team members
- Be comfortable with technology; CCH experience would be advantageous
A culture that values balance
What particularly stands out about this opportunity is the firm's approach to work-life balance.
While you'll have the opportunity to work on interesting audits, take responsibility and progress your career, there is also a clear understanding that people need time outside of work.
The firm offers flexible hybrid working, and generous holidays alongside a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing.
There's also a genuinely people-focused and sociable culture, with regular social, wellbeing and community activities. The aim is to create an environment where people can do great work without feeling that work has to come at the expense of their personal life.
You’ll also benefit from tailored learning and development, a company pension, health MOTs and a salary sacrifice car scheme.
