The Role
As an Audit Senior, you'll take responsibility for delivering high-quality audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and partners while supporting the development of junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead and complete statutory audit assignments.
- Carry out audit testing and review audit files to ensure quality standards are met.
- Build strong relationships with a varied portfolio of clients.
- Support and mentor junior members of the audit team.
- Delegate work effectively while providing guidance throughout assignments.
- Liaise with managers and partners to deliver successful client outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with professional and regulatory standards.
About You
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Previous experience in an Audit Senior or similar external audit role within practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Experience coaching or supervising junior team members.
- A proactive approach with the ambition to continue developing your career.
