The Role
Are you a qualified audit professional with strong technical knowledge, Mandarin language skills and excellent client management experience?
This is an opportunity to join an established accountancy practice and take ownership of a varied international portfolio. The
Audit Manager - Mandarin Speaking role will suit someone confident managing complex audits, building senior client relationships and working with international businesses, particularly those connected to the Far East.
You will
- Manage audits from planning through to completion and partner review.
- Act as a key contact for Mandarin-speaking clients and overseas finance teams.
- Coordinate international group audits and overseas component auditors.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Manage deadlines, resources, WIP and recoverability across your portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for additional audit, tax and advisory services.
- Support Partners with client development and business growth.
- Review files and ensure high technical and professional standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS or ICAI qualified.
- Solid practice-based audit and management experience.
- Fluent Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Experience working with international or Chinese-owned businesses.
- Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and strong portfolio management ability.
- Confident leadership and communication skills.
