Base pay range
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. You will play a key role in leading audits, managing teams, and supporting the development of junior staff.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits under the guidance of a Manager or Principal.
- Manage on-site audit teams.
- Plan audits, perform completion procedures, and prepare management letters.
- Assist in supervising and providing work-based training for junior staff.
- Support Audit Managers with delegated tasks, including planning, completion, and file reviews.
We work with a variety of clients, including mid-corporates and SMEs, larger groups, including UK subsidiaries of overseas parents, and specialist audits such as Pension Schemes, Charities & Not-for-Profit Organisations, Solicitors, FCA regulated entities.
Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Minimum 2 years\’ audit experience within a UK accountancy firm.
- IT competent and familiar with computerised accounting packages.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on own initiative.
- Able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Salary and Benefits:
£40,000-£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Benefits include annual Christmas bonus, death in service cover, and annual leave.
Working Arrangements
Full-time, Monday to Friday (hybrid working). Must have the right to work in the UK.
