In this role, you will play a key part in a newly developed statutory reporting function, based in London, within a forward‑thinking accountancy and tax advisory environment. You will take ownership of a varied client portfolio, oversee the delivery of high‑quality statutory financial statements, guide junior team members and work closely with senior leadership on technical and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients and oversee end‑to‑end accounts production delivery
- Review and supervise work produced by junior colleagues, ensuring accuracy and technical compliance
- Lead on the preparation of statutory financial statements in line with relevant reporting standards
- Produce and review consolidation workings for group reporting requirements
- Liaise directly with senior stakeholders, including directors and partners
- Ensure work is delivered to deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Support continuous improvement within the accounts preparation function
- Strong background in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
