I am supporting a fantastic and reputable accountancy firm who are looking for an Accounts Manager for this hybrid position on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) in their Shoreditch offices (3 days in, 2 remote). This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking team where you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio and play a key role in delivering high-quality compliance and business services work. You will work closely with Partners and senior leadership while also helping to guide junior team members.

This is a hybrid position (London-based), offered as a 12-month FTC. The firm has a strong reputation for its people-first culture, B-Corp alignment, and a clear focus on sustainability and long-term staff development. You will be stepping into an established role with excellent internal support and a clear handover.

  • Review of statutory accounts (FRS 102 Section 1A) and management accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero (Silverfin and Caseware experience is a bonus)
  • Ability to support on Making Tax Digital (MTD), including upcoming changes from July 2026
  • Commercial awareness and confidence to help spot opportunities or process improvements
  • Planning, prioritising, and allocating client work for timely delivery
  • Reviewing accounts and tax work within scope and agreed budgets
  • Actively managing WIP, workflow and ensuring timely billing
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service
  • Supporting business development and sector-specific growth
  • Leading client meetings and ensuring excellent communication and service levels
