They are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Manager to oversee a significant corporate client base while working closely with Partners on advisory and growth initiatives.
The opportunity
You will lead a diverse portfolio spanning owner‐managed businesses, complex group structures and investor‐backed organisations. The firm operates prominently within the accountancy market and combines regional autonomy with national technical strength. This position is advisory‐led. While compliance oversight remains part of the brief, the emphasis is on structuring, transactions and commercially grounded planning work.
What you will be responsible for
- Providing strategic oversight of corporation tax compliance across a substantial portfolio
- Leading on restructures, acquisitions and growth planning projects
- Supporting due diligence and investment transactions
- Advising shareholder‐managed and PE‐backed groups
- Managing complex technical matters and risk areas
- Overseeing billing strategy and portfolio profitability
- Developing Managers and emerging leaders within the team
- Supporting business development activity and proposal work
Your background
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified
- Extensive corporate tax experience gained within accountancy
- Strong advisory capability alongside compliance leadership
- Experience dealing with larger groups and investor‐backed businesses
- Confident managing senior client relationships
- Commercially astute and strategically minded
