Responsibilities

• Managing the sales ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers through professional communication
• Proactively chasing overdue accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Resolving payment queries and disputes efficiently
• Reconciling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records
• Producing aged debt reports and providing regular updates to management
• Supporting the credit control function with process improvements and best practices
• Liaising with internal teams including sales and customer service to resolve issues

You’ll be a key player in maintaining the company\’s financial stability and supporting continued growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to handle challenging conversations
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with accounting software
• Tenacious and persistent approach with a professional manner
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
