A high‐performing professional services firm is hiring a Financial Reporting Manager into its internal technical & compliance function. This is a manager‐level role for someone practice‐trained who enjoys the detail, the standards, and getting things right first time.
You will sit at the centre of quality and consistency across corporate reporting. It is not client‐facing, but it has real influence.
Responsibilities:- Reviewing annual reports and financial statements for technical compliance across a range of entities
- Handling technical queries across IFRS, UK GAAP, company law and corporate reporting
- Writing and updating internal guidance, templates and technical papers
- Producing a monthly technical update (including headline articles)
- Designing and delivering training sessions on updates and changes in reporting requirements
- Keeping the internal reporting library current and practical for teams to use
- ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
- Practice‐trained with strong corporate reporting experience (essential)
- Confident working across IFRS and UK GAAP, and comfortable with UK reporting and governance requirements
- Strong written communication – you can explain technical points clearly without making it painful
- Able to work autonomously and stay organised when multiple queries land at once
