About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Management Accountant to become an integral part of our Finance team at our Letchworth Garden City office. You will play a pivotal role in supporting financial operations and strategic decisionāmaking in the manufacturing and production industry, with responsibilities spanning financial reporting, compliance, audit coordination, and global transaction management. We are seeking a qualified management accountant professional who combines technical accounting excellence with meticulous attention to detail and thrives in a collaborative, international business environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Core Accounting & Reporting
- Execute journal entries, conduct financial analyses, and complete account reconciliations
- Support the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce and maintain precise financial reports and documentation
- Ensure all deadlines for processing, reporting, and regulatory compliance are met
- Compliance & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate internal and external audits, responding to information requests efficiently
- Maintain compliance with all internal reporting standards and external regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, vendors, tax authorities, and insurance providers
- Business Partnership & Process Improvement
- Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and optimise financial performance
- Collaborate with international finance colleagues on global projects and crossāborder transactions
- Oversee cash management and banking operations
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Provide flexible support to the Finance team and broader organisation as needs arise
What You Will Bring
- Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of postāqualification experience (5+ years total accounting experience preferred)
- Essential Skills
- Strong numerical aptitude with excellent analytical and problemāsolving capabilities

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
