About the Company:
Our Client are a prominent global reseller headquartered in Coventry, dedicated to supporting industries internationally. This Finance Business Partner role is very commercially focused to join a diverse finance team to work closely and collaboratively with operational business units and employees worldwide and contribute to their initiatives.
The Role:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic commercial business advice and professional finance to their leadership team. Your responsibilities will include budgeting and planning, ensuring compliance with UK tax law, government guidelines, and company processes. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and support the development of the Assistant Accountant.
Key Finance Business Partner Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic finance commercial business advice to operational business units through insightful financial analysis and reporting
- Budgeting, planning and forecasting of sales
- Ensure compliance with UK tax law and company processes
- Support the development of the Assistant Accountant
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in Commercial Finance
- University degree ideally however practical experience is key
- Accountancy or Finance Qualification or studying towards (preferred)
- Knowledge in cost accounting, planning, and budgeting
- Extensive knowledge in general ledger, P&L reporting, and accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial knowledge and business acumen
- Professional communication skills with internal and external contacts
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills; PowerBI skills are preferred
