What's the job?
You will lead complex valuation projects, focusing on share valuations for tax purposes such as EMI schemes, employee share arrangements, CGT deals, estate planning, restructures and distressed situations. This client‐facing role requires building relationships, managing projects end‐to‐end, and having genuine ownership of your work.
Who We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in valuations within an accountancy or tax environment.
- Strong technical skills covering different share classes, valuation methodologies, and employment securities rules.
- A solid understanding of the tax implications of valuations and the ability to explain complex concepts to clients in plain English.
- Comfortable managing client relationships and running projects independently.
- An interest in mentoring less experienced team members and a desire to grow with the firm.
- CTA or ACA qualification is a plus but not mandatory; relevant experience is sufficient.
Package
- Base Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 (dependent on experience).
- Profit Share: Company‐wide scheme that kicks in above a set threshold.
- Additional benefits include pension and standard benefits package.
Location: Birmingham office with flexibility to work from home when appropriate. Full‐time is preferred, but flexible or part‐time hours can be discussed.
