Insite Energy is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to elevate our market presence and champion our full suite of services. You’ll be at the forefront of engaging with a diverse customer base, from contractors and consultants to developers, housing providers, and local authorities, spotting opportunities, crafting tailored proposals, and building partnerships that last. With your finger firmly on the pulse of the heat network sector, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, representing Insite with confidence and expertise while helping customers find solutions to the challenges they face.

Location and Working Hours
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
- Office location: Moorgate, London (WeWork) – Minimum 3 to 4 days per month.
- Occasional travel to Insite offices for face-to-face meetings.
- Additional travel for business purposes paid for.
Essential
- Confident, professional and articulate in all communications i.e. face-to-face, virtual (e.g. via MS Teams), telephone and written communications.
- Experienced in developing client solutions that meet both customer and business needs.
- The ability to build strong relationships within the residential housing sector, ideally with Private Developers, Build-to-Rent Operators, Housing Associations, Managing Agents, M&E Contractors, Consultants and/or Local Authorities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and well-organised with the ability to work autonomously.
- Good team worker, reliable and able to rapidly establish a high degree of trust with the wider team as well as customers.
- Strong attention to detail; maintaining high standards for delivery, quality and accuracy.
- Highly competent in MS Office software and relevant tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
Desirable
- Experience in a sales or relationship management role.
- Technical experience and knowledge of the HVAC sector.
- Understanding of the housing sector.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and/or budgets.
Benefits
- Salary: Competitive salary + commission + travel allowance.
