We are seeking a full-time Tech Educator - Vex Robotics Education Specialist for an on-site role based in Reading, England. The specialist will deliver engaging Robotics and Coding sessions to students of varying skill levels, with a focus on Vex Robotics (123, Go, and IQ) platforms. The role involves designing and implementing creative lesson plans, conducting hands-on workshops, and providing individualised support to foster learning. The educator will also organise and deliver tech-enrichment sessions, monitor participant progress, and work closely with students to develop their understanding of robotics and coding.
Qualifications
- Skills in Education and Special Education, with an ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
- Strong Communication and Training skills to effectively deliver lesson content and facilitate active learning experiences.
- Excellent Organization Skills to manage program planning, materials, and schedules effectively.
- A passion for technology, robotics, and STEAM education, with hands-on experience in Vex Robotics being a requirement.
- Proficiency in developing engaging and interactive educational content to inspire participant creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in working with children or youth programs is a prioritised requirement.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team both on-site and remote.
