Insignis Cash is a fast-growing, FCA-regulated FinTech company looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join their busy team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for delivering the Compliance Monitoring Plan and undertaking targeted assurance reviews to support an assessment of ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead in the development and delivery of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan: design and execute tests to enable an assessment of the adequacy of controls.
- Work with colleagues to design reports enabling the identification of trends and exceptions requiring additional investigation.
- Structure and undertake assurance reviews to assess the design effectiveness and operational effectiveness of controls implemented to mitigate the risks associated with certain processes.
- Undertake control mapping to support ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations; partner with colleagues to develop solutions to supplement existing controls where necessary.
- Develop effective relationships across the business to ensure clear lines of communication between the Risk & Compliance function and colleagues working in teams including Sales, Onboarding, Client Services, and Payments.
- Support the Head of Compliance as required in delivering other aspects of the Compliance Annual Plan, including but not limited to:
- drafting and maintenance of Insignis’ compliance policies;
- delivery and administration of compliance training (on-line and face-to-face);
- review and approval of financial promotions;
- completion of FCA returns;
- compilation of Risk & Compliance management information to support Risk Committee, bank audits and other ad-hoc requests.

The following is required for the role:
- Experience working in the financial services sector or in a consultancy or audit role supporting financial services clients, with a demonstrable understanding of industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in undertaking tests, reviews, or audits to support an assessment of the design and operational effectiveness of controls is essential; experience in designing tests, reviews, or audits would be an advantage.
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders to agree on action plans and track them to completion; proactively driving change where required.
- Experience in producing and presenting regular management information.
- Ability to build robust working relationships at all levels of a company.
- Ability to synthesise information from multiple sources and present key messages to a variety of audiences.
- Familiarity with the FCA Handbook. Knowledge of PSRs, BCOBS, FSCS & DISP is desirable.
- An understanding of data protection legislation – specifically UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations – would be beneficial.
