We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a leading maintenance and refurbishment team operating across the Woking area. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, career progression and a supportive working environment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plastering repairs in occupied homes, communal buildings, and empty properties. Typical tasks will include:
- Applying various coats of plaster, render and cement repairs
- Plaster boarding stud walls and over-boarding ceilings
- Coving and cornice installation
- Fixing and coating thermoboard
- Artexing
- Non-licensed asbestos removal (training provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and follow safe working practices at all times
- Ensure safe disposal of waste and maintain an environmentally conscious approach
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and protected before, during and after tasks
- Maintain professional conduct when dealing with residents and colleagues
- Take ownership of each job through to completion
- Carry out effective risk assessments and use appropriate PPE
- Communicate clearly with the scheduling/operations team regarding job progress, materials, and completion times
- Complete jobs in one visit where possible and coordinate follow-on trades when required
- Keep company vehicle clean, organised and stocked with appropriate tools and materials
- Uphold company values and work to agreed procedures
