Quality Engineer

Location: Hayes, UK (Hybrid after training)

Are you passionate about driving quality and compliance in a fast-paced aerospace maintenance environment? We\’re looking for a Quality Engineer – Level 1 to join our dynamic Quality & EHS team and help maintain robust systems that support high standards across our operations.

About the Role

In this role, you\’ll play a key part in upholding compliance with EASA Part 145, FAA CFR, and internationally recognised standards including ISO 9110, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. You\’ll support internal investigations, process development, and continual improvement initiatives across the quality and environmental health & safety functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and monitor compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on applicable regulations and best practices.

  • Conduct root cause investigations and develop effective corrective actions using internal quality systems.

  • Collaborate on regulatory process development and documentation.

  • Support employee authorisation and competency control.

  • Maintain accurate records within the quality system.

  • Complete supplier and customer quality questionnaires.

  • Provide training to new team members on department-specific tasks.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and project initiatives within the Quality and EHS function.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Education: A-levels minimum. A degree, BTEC, or HNC in Engineering or a business-related field is desirable.

  • Experience:

    • At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) or aerospace environment.

    • Familiarity with EASA Part 145 & 21J and FAA CFR 145.

    • Working knowledge of ISO91XX standards and quality systems.

    • Hands-on experience in quality and safety functions, including investigations and audits.

  • Location: Based in Hayes, West London (office environment).

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working available after initial training period.

  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required for training and forums.

  • Eligibility: Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
