Job Description

Panel Wirer – Nottingham – Up-to £19 Per Hour (£37,000 Per Annum)\\n\\nWe are looking for a number of skilled and enthusiastic Panel Wirers to join a growing team of professionals in Nottingham as part of a well-established and successful electrical engineering business producing bespoke hardware for a variety of industrial and commercial applications within the Defence, Marine, Rail, and Utilities sectors.\\nThis is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday, shifts being 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday with a short day on Fridays being 7am to 11am. \\nCompany Benefits and Culture:\\n* Friendly and inclusive culture with a close-knit team of 20 people \\n* Team events at Christmas and throughout the year\\n* Breakfast provided on Friday mornings as part of team bonding (Butties for all!)\\n* 5% Employer contribution to pensions\\n* 20 Days holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional day's holiday with each year of service up to 25 days \\n* Annual Christmas shutdown \\n* Bonus Scheme based on personal and business performance \\n\\nRole Responsibilities:\\n* Preparing wires for fitting into Control and Relay Panels, cutting and crimping\\n* Follow wiring schematics and label panel wires to allow for easy assembly and repairs\\n* Work with other Panel Wirers to check and test each other's work to ensure high quality standards are maintained \\n* Work flexibly within the team alongside colleagues including Wirers, Fitters, and Fabricators\\n\\nRequired Experience:\\n* Strong Experience working within previous Panel Wirer positions working on Control and Relay panels \\n* Ability to read and understand Schematics and G/A (General Arrangement) Drawings\\n* Confidence using Wire Strippers and Crimping tools \\n* Ability to take instruction and a drive to continuously improve your skillset\\n* Troubleshooting mindset to identify issues and create potential solutions
