We are seeking an Industrial Services Operative to support waste management, housekeeping, and environmental compliance within a Plating Shop manufacturing environment. The role involves working with Laboratory and Plating teams to ensure safe handling, movement, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You will also help maintain plating equipment, effluent treatment systems, and work areas, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

Key Duties:

  • Collect, label, and safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste
  • Support waste disposal and external contractor collections
  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas and ensure 5S standards
  • Clean and service plating tanks and equipment
  • Assist with basic equipment checks and maintenance tasks
  • Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., jet wash)
  • Support dust control in blast/peen areas
  • Complete accurate paperwork and records
  • Follow strict Health, Safety
