Role Overview: You'll be responsible for producing high-quality machined components, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- CNC milling with a hands-on approach
- Heidenhain programming
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Maintaining quality and 5S standards
- Working flexibly across machining disciplines when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Apprentice trained (preferred)
- 5+ years CNC machining & programming experience
- Heidenhain/ Mazak experience
- Knowledge of milling & turning techniques
- Experience working with materials such as Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron
- Understanding of Lean / 7 wastes / 5S
Desirable:
- Experience with composite materials
- Knowledge of modern cutting tools
