We are looking for a hands-on quality leader who thrives on developing people, driving performance, and leading a diverse team. As Deputy Quality Lead, you won’t just manage processes—you’ll shape a culture where "Right First Time" is second nature, challenges are tackled head-on, and every team member can grow and succeed.

You’ll work closely with the Site Quality Manager to be the voice of quality across production, owning non-conformance control, corrective actions, and root cause investigations. You’ll coach, mentor, and motivate your team, manage conflict constructively, and help create a workplace where collaboration, accountability, and inclusivity thrive.

Why This Role

  • Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, and excellent benefits.
  • Lead a diverse, talented team and have real influence over their growth and success.
  • Shape the quality culture of a business undergoing an exciting transformation.
  • Join a company which develops technology which we all depend on every day!
  • Visible, tangible impact—your leadership directly improves how people work, learn, and deliver.

What You’ll Own

  • Day-to-day quality operations—guiding junior engineers and stepping in where needed.
  • Non-conformance control, corrective actions, and RCA investigations (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, FMEA).
  • Team development—mentor, coach, and motivate QEs, QCs, and Support Specialists.
  • Drive performance—manage conflict, set expectations, and ensure accountability.
  • Embed quality across production, design, supply chain, and project teams.
  • Support internal and external audits with speed and confidence.
  • Proactively plan for product readiness and risk prevention.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent) with strong quality leadership experience.
  • Skilled in quality systems and tools (ISO9001 Lead Auditor; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt desirable).
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating diverse teams, managing conflict, and driving performance.
  • Experienced in highly regulated, zero-error industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Pharma, Food).
  • Collaborative, inquisitive, and solution-focused—always asking why, not just how.
  • Ideally a current or former Quality Manager ready to make a real difference in a deputy leadership role.

If you’re excited to lead a team, influence a culture, and deliver quality with impact, we want to hear from you. Submit your CV today.
