We are on the hunt for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join a growing business within the marine space to drive forward improvements to their processes, systems, and business efficiency. Within this role, you'll be working across various departments including Sales and Manufacturing to launch and manage improvement initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead improvement initiatives autonomously and work with the business to make Continuous Improvement practices a part of the DNA of the business
  • Work with the leadership team to translate growth strategy into executable action plans
  • Lead Continuous Improvement work across the value stream including:
  • Value Stream Mapping and Analysis
  • Launch and oversee improvement initiatives across manufacturing sites, global sales, and service organisation with a view to reducing waste, increasing customer satisfaction, or optimising operational processes
  • Drive continuous improvement with the SLT working with KPI's and regular dialogues with key stakeholders across the business
  • Role Requirements:

    • Demonstrable experience within a Continuous Improvement focused role with examples of improvements to business culture
    • Confidence within a constantly changing environment
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions
    • Systems Thinking as a basis for instituting small and large improvements
    • Ability to take responsibility for new initiatives from conception to completion
    • Confidence communicating, delivering presentations to, and working closely with major stakeholders across the business
    • Willingness to travel on occasion
    • Understanding of the Marine sector
    • Ability to secure SC Clearance
