Electronics Test Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Electronics Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll support the design, development, and optimisation of advanced electronic test systems, ensuring they deliver exceptional performance and reliability across diverse projects.
You will be involved in the design reviews from the start and will be collaborating closely with the shop floor and test team. In this role you will also contribute to building an efficient system which will determine how the testing is carried out across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Provide input in the design and development of sophisticated electronic test systems.
- Analyse and optimise electronic systems, promoting re-use and standardisation where possible.
- Devise, implement, and monitor PCB testing processes in line with industry best practices.
- Produce accurate documentation which will include electronic schematics and test designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams, contributing to both internal and client meetings.
- Maintain documentation in line with local procedures.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Knowledge and appreciation of electronic testing standards and schematic capture.
- Experience specifying electronic components.
- Experience of interpreting and analysing electronic schematics.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent documentation skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with LabView, Altium or Python would be desirable but not essential.
