Comprehensive Benefits – Bonus, pension, life assurance, annual bonus, 25 days holiday (with buy/sell), plus employee discounts, 9 day-fortnight option.
Supportive Culture – Focus on wellbeing, open communication, and recognition of success.
What you’ll be doing
- Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles to ensure new designs are efficient, standardised, and testable.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Project Teams on design and manufacturing reviews.
- Support prototype builds, resolving issues before full-scale production.
- Develop manufacturing plans, covering layouts, process maps, tooling, and workstation setup.
- Lead the introduction of new products, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Design and implement jigs, fixtures, tooling, and production line layouts to improve efficiency.
- Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and value stream mapping to optimise workflows.
- Create and maintain routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system.
- Analyse non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste, scrap, and non-value-added activities.
What we’re looking for
Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Competence in 3D CAD (Creo (ideally), SolidWorks) and 2D CAD design.
Experience with ERP systems, including creating routings and Bill of Materials.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt desirable), and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Security clearance required (non-UK nationals eligible with 5 years’ residency and no work restrictions).
