Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Planner who will be a key figure in coordinating projects across the organisation. This role would be well suited to someone who excels in precision, planning and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
# Undertake resource planning and resolve and resourcing conflicts.
# Manage the risks and opportunities and in doing so implement best practice.
# Implement best practice tools and processes for Project Planning and aid in driving the improvements for this.
# Ensure the quality and integrity of project plans.
# Schedule analysis and resource management.
# Update project plans to reflect company objectives and update in a timely manner.
# Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
# Communicate issues to the relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
# Degree qualified or relevant qualification such as APM certification is preferred.
# Comprehensive understanding of APM Body of Knowledge.
# Demonstrated experience in project planning.
# Proficient in the use of MSP and/or Primavera P6.
# Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
# Knowledge and familiarity of planning structures such as the WBS and PBS.
