We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler to support the smooth running of our busy CNC Machine Shop Operation, ensuring critical raw materials, components and job kits are delivered and transported efficiently. This role is a key part of our team requiring someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver raw materials and components to CNC machines
- Move completed parts to inspection, stores, or next operations
- Prepare and stage job kits ahead of machine changeovers
- Support production flow and minimise machine downtime
- Maintain clean and organised work areas in line with 5S standards
- Ensure correct labelling, traceability, and safe handling of materials
- Work closely with Supervisors, Planners, Stores, and Operators
Person Specification:
- Demonstrable experience in Manufacturing or CNC Shop environment
- Some ERP/ Stock System knowledge
- FLT or Lifting Equipment experience
- Lean Manufacturing or 5S Principles
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Role Information:
- Monday - Friday, 6/7am - 3pm
- Salary of £35,000 per annum
- CNC Shop in Havant, Hampshire
