Are you passionate about precision and technology? We are seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our dedicated team in Aberdeen. In this hands-on role, you will work with some of the most advanced underwater instrumentation on the market, helping ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance across a wide range of subsea equipment.
About the Role
As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, testing, and maintenance of depth, conductivity, temperature, and sound velocity sensors from industry-leading manufacturers. You'll play a key role in ensuring our equipment meets the highest standards of accuracy, supporting operations across marine and offshore sectors. As the first Aberdeen based CE you will be setting up a new lab, making it your own and ensuring correct processes and procedures in place.
What will your day to day look like?
- Calibrate and test sophisticated underwater sensors and instrumentation
- Use specialist calibration tools and software to meet industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, carrying out repairs when needed
- Document results accurately, maintaining rigorous quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance calibration techniques
