Bids Manager

We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientated professional to play an important role in the planning, development and submission of high quality bids and proposals across the business. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire bid lifecycle, from the initial opportunity assessment to final submission.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of the full bid lifecycle, ensuring that it complies with internal processes.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional bid teams to aid in driving efficiency and high-quality response documentation.
  • Organise and lead key bid meetings.
  • Develop proposal plans, templates and schedules to ultimately ensure that there is alignment with customer requirements.
  • Oversee proposal writing, editing and proofing to produce clear submissions.
  • Manage the business approval process, coordinating governance reviews.
  • Plan and control the bids and proposals budget.
  • Act as a main point of contact and develop timelines and strategies.

Qualifications/skills:

  • Experience in proposals and of managing complex bids and proposals.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholder at all levels, ensuring clear and effective bid coordination.
  • Good prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A degree in business, commerce or related field, or proven experience in managing complex bids and proposals.
  • Flexible and agile with positive attitude.
  • Advanced proficiency in digital tools, MS Office and SharePoint.
