We are seeking a Tax Sales Specialist to join our EMEA team. This role requires maintaining deep product expertise in assigned financial solutions to assist sellers in landing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tax technology, global tax provisioning, tax reporting, Pillar II reporting and operational transfer pricing solutions and the ability to translate complex product capabilities into business value. This position is a full time remote role and reports into the Vice President – EMEA Sales.

The Tax Sales Specialist will own the Tax quota for the region and work in an overlay capacity to support the regional Account Executive and Account Management teams across EMEA to successfully close their Tax opportunities with existing customers and new prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep product expertise in assigned financial and tax reporting, and data management solutions
  • Promote assigned product(s) through focused solutions presentations to drive land and expand opportunities
  • Engage proactively in the sales process when opportunities are identified by Business Development, Customer Success, Account Executive, or Account Manager teams
  • Provide technical and functional support during solution design and proposal development
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase value for finance and accounting teams
  • Ability to articulate the key differentiators between insightsoftware’s Tax products and capabilities compared to competitors in region
  • Understanding of how the main accounting / consulting firms work in relation to tax provisioning and tax reporting, and leverage own relationships within the Big 4 accounting firms
  • Lead assessment of legacy tax technology systems and execute migration strategies
  • Support customers transitioning from legacy tax reporting and tax provisioning platforms
  • Develop migration roadmaps that minimize business disruption while maximizing product adoption
  • Provide expertise in tax provisioning, tax reporting and transfer pricing workflows
  • Work closely with Business Development and Sales teams during qualification of new opportunities
  • Partner with Sales Executives and Account Managers to deliver value propositions and validate product fit
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to identify additional use cases and drive expansion within existing accounts
  • Support Solutions Engineers in providing comprehensive technical expertise
  • Enable Hybrid Sellers with product knowledge and competitive positioning
  • Support Partner relationships across Accounting and Consulting Partners

Required Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in tax provisioning, tax reporting and operational transfer pricing
  • Strong understanding of financial systems architecture and data flows
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and their reporting limitations
  • Knowledge of Tax platforms and financial data integration
  • Familiarity with financial data governance, controls, and audit requirements
  • Understanding of tax, finance and accounting business processes, and how these differ from country to country
  • Ability to speak the language of CFOs, Tax Directors, Controllers, and Finance Directors
  • Experience articulating ROI and business value for financial transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in tax technology, financial systems, reporting solutions, or related roles
  • Proven track record supporting enterprise software sales cycles
  • Experience with complex B2B sales processes in financial technology
  • Background in consulting, implementation, or product management for financial solutions preferred
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in an overlay quota-carrying role
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
