Job Description
Our Professional Services team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual desiring to play an integral part in the successful delivery of our leading Cloud Architected Accounting Rules Platform. This role is focuses on the following activities to support accurate and compliant financial reporting:
- Work closely with sales and client success teams to scope consulting solutions
- Engage with clients to validate their requirements and to design, configure and test solutions
- Translate business event models into accounting rules in line with financial accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP) and internal controls
- Utilise your experience and knowledge of business events and accounting concepts to help solve team and customer complex problems.
- Integrate solutions with customers ERP systems and other data sources/targets
- Enhance, upgrade and support customers maintain their existing applications
- Plan, prepare and perform product training
- Coach partners and clients in the configuration of solutions
- Prepare high quality documentation
- Deliver projects under tight and aggressive deadlines
- Other tasks as required by leadership
Qualifications
- Accounting Certification (e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field
- Experience in finance systems or ERP implementations with exposure to accounting rules engines (e.g. Oracle FAH, AHCS or similar)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and subledger accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with data mapping, functional design and full SDLC
- Knowledge of SQL and data query tools
- Experience of finance transformation projects in Insurance or Banking a distinct advantage
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
