Job Description
As Foundation Manager, you will work alongside the Foundation Director to shape and deliver the Foundation’s strategy, strengthen our charity collaborations and increase our impact. This senior role includes responsibility for collaboration development, strategic delivery, impact leadership and oversight of operational excellence.
What You’ll Do To Succeed
- Collaborate with Trustees and other stakeholders to create and lead a compelling, ambitious and impactful strategy, delivering on the aims and priorities of the Insights Foundation with sound judgement on where to focus time and resources.
- Work closely with the Foundation Director to refine strategy and annual plans, ensuring charity collaborations align with our purpose and create meaningful impact.
- Design and oversee the Foundation’s impact framework, ensuring we measure what matters and remain focused on outcomes rather than activity alone.
- Build and manage collaboration relationships with charities and not‑for‑profit organisations, shaping practical, impactful and sustainable solutions and acting as senior relationship lead for priority partners.
- Act as an ambassador for the Insights Foundation, strengthening the community of Foundation Guardians and shaping impact narratives that clearly articulate the value and outcomes of our work.
- Interpret data and feedback into meaningful insight, oversee governance and reporting, and lead operational delivery, including line management of the Social Impact Coordinator and oversight of systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the charity sector, social impact or partnership development, with the ability to operate at a strategic level.
- Skilled at building trusted relationships and turning complex or varied requests into clear, practical plans.
- Combine sound judgement with creativity, and know when to say yes and when to say no.
- Confident in interpreting information and shaping clear, compelling messages about impact and outcomes.
- Proactive, self‑directed and able to lead with confidence while working in partnership with others.
