Job Description
As the Digital & Motion Designer, your purpose is to bring our brand to life through movement and storytelling with engaging, high-quality motion graphics and impactful dynamic digital content. Whether crafting bite-sized, short-form social content or longer narrative-based video, your work is always high-quality, purpose-led, and on-brand.
This is both a creative and practical role where you’ll balance innovation with efficiency, building scalable assets and reusable frameworks that support a recognisable, cohesive brand presence across digital platforms.
You\'ll be a brilliant creative thinker who knows how to turn brand ideas into animated stories that move people. Your work will add energy and clarity to how we communicate, shaping how audiences feel, connect, and respond across channels, from campaign content to social, explainer videos to digital assets.
You’ll collaborate closely with our designers, writers, and marketing partners to ensure our motion content not only looks great but resonates deeply with the people we want to reach through digital design, which is fully integrated into our brand and visual identity.
Day to day you\'ll
- Create high-quality motion design, animation, and video content that brings our brand to life across digital platforms
- Collaborate closely with brand and marketing teams to translate messaging into dynamic visual stories
- Develop digital design assets including animation toolkits, video templates, explainer graphics, and campaign content
- Align all outputs with brand guidelines and visual identity to ensure consistency and recognisability
- Apply storytelling techniques and narrative structure to motion work, enhancing message clarity and emotional connection
- Work efficiently across multiple briefs and channels, adapting output for a variety of formats and audiences
- Bring fresh creative thinking by staying actively connected to digital trends, motion design innovation, and evolving platform capabilities
- Maintain a strong eye for detail while managing deadlines, prioritising tasks, and delivering work at pace
- Contribute to scaling our digital brand presence by building reusable motion assets and frameworks
- Champion accessibility, usability, and performance across all digital and motion outputs
- Support a positive and collaborative team culture, sharing your knowledge and learning with others
- Help evolve how we consistently use motion and digital design to build recognition and brand affinity
Qualifications
- Versatile and skilled designer with a passion for movement and digital innovation
- Strong storytelling instincts and know how to communicate clearly through motion
- An understanding of visual communication and know how to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging content across formats
- Broad experience in motion graphics, video, and digital design, you create work that not only looks good but delivers meaning, emotion, and impact.
- Experience of aligning animation and digital design with strategic brand messaging, and you know how to build for various platforms, audiences, and channels
- Know how to scale digital assets, and bring strong creative judgement to everything you touch.
- Fluency in Adobe is key and knowledge of Canto and AI integration/3D animation would be beneficial.
