About the Role:

This role focuses on supporting and enhancing our Housing Applications estate, including the NEC Integrated Housing Management System. You will work closely with Housing Services, our Digital & Technology colleagues and third‑party suppliers to deliver high‑quality application support, improve service stability and performance, and help drive continuous improvement across our organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in ICT, Digital Services or Technical Operations.
  • Experience supporting NEC Housing applications, ideally the NEC Integrated Housing Management System.
  • Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), including Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.
  • Experience managing suppliers and third‑party service providers.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Experience supporting business change, system upgrades and service improvements.
  • Knowledge of data governance, reporting and information management.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher.
  • Project or Programme Management qualification.
  • Relevant technical or application certifications.
  • Experience in Local Government, Housing, Public Sector or Social Housing.
  • Knowledge of Housing Management processes and statutory requirements.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or MSP.
  • Experience with cloud‑based applications and SaaS environments.
  • Membership of a professional body such as BCS.
