Insight Global is seeking a Senior Engineering Audit Manager (Markets) for a leading financial services client. This individual will play a key role in leading and delivering a portfolio of technology and integrated audits across the Markets division, while also acting as a trusted technology subject matter expert to senior audit leadership.
The role involves managing the full audit lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow‑up, ensuring audits are completed on time, within budget, and to a high‑quality standard. The candidate will act as the primary point of contact for audit teams and stakeholders, running meetings, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and maintaining a strong “no surprises” communication approach.
They will review audit work, produce impactful findings and reports, and proactively identify risks and control gaps while recommending improvements to strengthen the organisation’s risk environment. Additionally, the role requires building strong relationships across engineering and business teams, contributing to audit planning and risk assessments, supporting CRAM activities, and coaching and mentoring junior team members, all within a fast‑paced, regulated, and global environment.
Must‑Haves
- 5+ years of experience in technology audit / IT audit within financial services or regulated environments
- CISA, CISSP or equivalent certification
- Internal Audit (IIA/CIIA) or accounting qualification (or part‑qualified)
- Strong experience in technology audit / IT audit within financial services or regulated environments
- Proven experience delivering and supervising audits end‑to‑end
- Strong stakeholder/partner management skills
- Deep SME knowledge in technology risk, controls, and infrastructure
Plusses
- Experience within capital markets / trading / clearing environments
- Prior exposure to financial institutions
- Experience with engineering infrastructure audits
