Senior Frontend Software Engineer Responsibilities
- Serve as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer within cross-functional feature teams for the Data Marketplace.
- Deliver accessible, high-quality, and well-tested user interfaces on a cloud-native platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Take technical ownership of frontend delivery and contribute to the team's technical direction.
- Support, coach, and mentor other engineers within the team.
- Focus on building scalable, testable UIs using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Apply a test-first mindset (TDD) and write automated tests using JestJS and modern frontend testing practices.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) using tools such as axe-core.
- (Desirable) Contribute to backend development using Java/Quarkus, work with REST APIs and PostgreSQL.
- (Desirable) Leverage DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Operate at a senior level by providing technical leadership, mentoring peers, and influencing architectural decisions.
