Commercial Account Handler/Executive£35,000 – £45,000 | Loughborough | Permanent We\’re partnering with a well-established independent insurance broker in Loughborough who are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Commercial Account Handler/Executive to manage a portfolio of SME to mid-sized clients across a variety of sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in servicing, renewals, re-broking, and maintaining strong client relationships. You\’ll also have the chance to contribute to business development from existing clients and referrals – no cold calling required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day queries
• Re-market policies and negotiate with insurers to secure the best terms and coverage
• Advise clients on suitable cover across a range of commercial lines, including property, liability, motor, and packages
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered to a high standard
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with both clients and underwriters

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler or Executive within the insurance industry
• Strong technical knowledge across a variety of commercial insurance products
• Confident in client communication and insurer negotiation
• Organised, professional, and driven to deliver excellent client outcomes
• Cert CII qualified or working towards (desirable but not essential)
