Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our Mid-Market sales team. This role is pivotal in driving growth through strategic leadership, team development, and delivering innovative technology solutions. You will inspire a high-performance culture, foster client relationships, and ensure profitable outcomes across existing and prospective accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation
- Set clear objectives, track performance, and provide regular feedback to drive growth and development
- Lead engaging team meetings to maintain focus and motivation aligned with divisional strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, ensuring prompt resolution and exceptional service
- Drive accurate forecasting and pipeline management using Insight’s proven sales methodology
- Develop and maintain quarterly, half-yearly, and annual account business plans to achieve revenue and GP targets
- Apply financial acumen to inform strategic decisions and craft compelling business cases
- Understand key financial metrics (CapEx, OpEx, EBITDA, SG&A) to drive profitability
- Ensure compliance with sales processes and leverage CRM insights for accurate reporting
- Champion continuous improvement through training and coaching
Who you are…
- A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator with extensive client-facing sales experience
- Demonstrable experience managing and motivating a high-performing team within a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proven experience in Public Sector sales management, with a strong understanding of procurement frameworks and government buying processes
- Understanding of and ability to utilize Sales Methodology, from defining client needs to delivering outcomes
- Previous IT sales experience with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to engage and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, with credibility and confidence
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze business and technical reports, and present information effectively to teammates, managers, and clients
