As part of this growth, they’re looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the delivery of a wide range of business-critical initiatives, from mergers and acquisitions through to large-scale operational and systems rollouts. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their project management career who wants exposure to complex, high-impact projects in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment. You’ll be joining a small, high-performing central team, working closely with senior stakeholders across the UK and internationally, gaining hands-on experience that will accelerate your development.
Why This Role
- Exposure to major business transformation projects (M&A, warehouse relocations, systems rollouts)
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Opportunity to develop into a more senior Project Manager or PMO role
- Join a growing central projects team with strong visibility across the business
- ÂŁ35,000 salary + ÂŁ5,000 bonus
- Multiple location options (North or South)
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of a wide range of business projects, working across operations, technology and commercial teams. This will include, but not be limited to, projects surrounding software rollouts, mergers and acquisitions of other businesses and office and warehouse relocations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting end-to-end project delivery from planning through to execution
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across operations, product, marketing and support functions
- Managing project communications to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed
- Producing regular status updates, reports and presentations for key stakeholders
- Supporting change management activities, helping teams adapt to new processes, systems or structures
- Identifying risks and issues, and supporting mitigation plans
- Contributing to continuous improvement of project processes and ways of working
- Supporting large-scale operational projects such as site moves, warehouse transitions and system implementations
What They’re Looking For
This role is well suited to someone with early project management experience who is looking to step into a broader, more impactful role. Key experience includes:
- 1–2 years’ experience in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role
- Experience working in a structured environment, ideally within operations, logistics, technology or similar
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and levels
- A proactive, “get things done” mindset with the ability to take ownership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Any exposure to change management, business transformation or system implementations would be beneficial
The Fit
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit in the background. It’s for someone who wants to be involved, take ownership, and learn quickly by being close to real business change. You’ll do well if you’re naturally organised, curious, and comfortable communicating with different types of people across the business.
