We are currently supporting a well-established organisation based in Birmingham as they look to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial contract until October, with the potential for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-profile role within a dynamic finance function, providing strategic financial insight and partnering with senior stakeholders on a major transformation programme.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the business, providing clear financial guidance and challenging where necessary to support commercial decision-making.
- Ensure robust financial governance across projects, with a strong focus on cost control, compliance with IFRS standards, and accurate budgetary management.
- Take ownership of the month-end close process and contribute to the preparation of year-end accounts and audit requirements.
- Produce insightful financial analysis and reporting around forecasting, cost performance, and cash flow.
- Continuously improve finance processes and ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in large-scale or complex project environments. High level of financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Advanced Excel skills and good working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
