Are you a creative and technically skilled Product Designer looking to bring ideas to life from concept through to production? We are seeking a motivated individual to join a forward-thinking design team focused on developing innovative, high-quality products for global markets.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of product development, transforming ideas into manufacturable solutions. You’ll work across the full design lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with customers to ensure products meet real-world needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop product concepts from initial idea through to production
- Create sketches, 3D CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings
- Build and test prototypes to refine designs
- Conduct market research and gather customer insights
- Visit clients to understand user needs and collect feedback
- Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Participate in tooling trials and product evaluations
- Ensure designs meet quality, durability, and performance standards
- Collaborate with wider teams to support product launches globally
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field (minimum 2:1)
- Strong understanding of product design and development
- Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks)
- Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Practical experience in prototyping and model making
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of plastics, metals, or other production processes
