A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Administrator to join a well-established organisation within the vehicle manufacturing and technology sector. This role would suit someone with a technical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in engineering or emerging automotive technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed documentation including component lists, product data and user guides.
- Gathering and organising technical specifications for a wide range of products.
- Creating and updating 2D and 3D drawings in line with internal standards.
- Supporting the engineering change process, including document updates and version control.
- Assisting colleagues with technical queries and documentation requests.
- Maintaining accurate product information within internal databases.
- Liaising with suppliers when technical information or clarification is required.
- Working closely with development teams to produce high-quality support material.
- Participating in project meetings and wider engineering activities where required.
Person Specification
- Qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline (electrical/electronic bias desirable).
- Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and standard office software.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Purpose of Role
The function of this role is to generate and update technical documentation for Brigade’s new and existing product ranges, and to maintain Brigade’s internal and external product databases. The ideal candidate will have a basic background in Engineering, accompanied by strong verbal and written English skills. A strong sense of task ownership, and driven towards completeness is essential for this role, as is a willingness to learn. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Tasks
- Collaborate with development teams to create comprehensive support material for Brigade’s product ranges.
- Lead the Engineering change process for simple document updates.
- Participation in project team meetings and other Engineering activities as required.
Person Specification
- ONC/OND or equivalent in Engineering, manufacturing or a related field, preferably with an Electrical / Electronic bias.
- Basic industry experience in a technical field.
- Genuine interest in Engineering, and automotive technology.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 suite and standard desktop applications.
- Self-motivated, with a methodical, detail-orientated approach.
- Takes full responsibility for the quality of own work.
- Able to work to deadlines with the flexibility to multi-task and to work beyond normal business hours when required.
- Resourceful and eager to learn with a natural respect for company and colleagues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
