We're looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join a well-established and growing organisation based in West Malling on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-volume customer service role, enjoys solving problems and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers, managing enquiries from start to finish while building strong relationships and ensuring every interaction is handled professionally. Hybrid working is available following your initial training period.
The Role- Deliver exceptional customer service via telephone, email and internal systems.
- Manage customer and supplier enquiries through to resolution, taking ownership throughout.
- Process customer orders and provide updates throughout the order lifecycle.
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve positive customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate customer records across multiple systems.
- Work to service level agreements, quality standards and productivity targets.
- Identify recurring customer issues and contribute ideas for improving processes and customer experience.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products, services and processes.
- Previous experience within a customer service, customer support or contact centre environment.
