A market-leading international events and content company is seeking a Head of Sales to lead the strategic growth of a high-performing portfolio. This is a senior‑level, revenue‑generating role for a driven sales leader with strong B2B experience, ideally in sponsorship sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 4 sponsorship sales executives.
- Personally generate revenue via high‑value sponsorship sales.
- Drive the strategic development of sponsorship revenue across the division.
- Recruit, coach, and mentor new sales hires.
- Deliver structured training and development initiatives across the team.
- Lead weekly forecasting and performance reviews with senior management.
- Oversee the growth of both mature and emerging sector offerings.
- Provide input into product development and new commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with other sales leaders across the business to share best practices.
- Consistently exceed revenue targets while championing a performance‑led culture.
About You:
- Proven track record in B2B sponsorship or solution‑led sales, ideally within events.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Commercially strategic and results oriented.
- Comfortable selling into both established and developing markets.
- A confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
