Head of Sales – B2B Events / London / £150k OTE / Hybrid

A market-leading international events and content company is seeking a Head of Sales to lead the strategic growth of a high-performing portfolio. This is a senior‑level, revenue‑generating role for a driven sales leader with strong B2B experience, ideally in sponsorship sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 4 sponsorship sales executives.
  • Personally generate revenue via high‑value sponsorship sales.
  • Drive the strategic development of sponsorship revenue across the division.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor new sales hires.
  • Deliver structured training and development initiatives across the team.
  • Lead weekly forecasting and performance reviews with senior management.
  • Oversee the growth of both mature and emerging sector offerings.
  • Provide input into product development and new commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other sales leaders across the business to share best practices.
  • Consistently exceed revenue targets while championing a performance‑led culture.

About You:

  • Proven track record in B2B sponsorship or solution‑led sales, ideally within events.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Commercially strategic and results oriented.
  • Comfortable selling into both established and developing markets.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
