Our client is looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Compliance & Sustainability Administrator to join their growing team in Rainham, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, documentation, systems and supplier communication in a fast-paced commercial environment. The role is heavily focused on data processing, accuracy and coordination, making it ideal for candidates with strong administrative, compliance, technical or operational experience. While experience within packaging, FMCG or product compliance would be beneficial, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating product testing and maintaining accurate test records
- Managing supplier documentation, specifications and approvals
- Liaising with UK teams and Far East suppliers to gather and verify information
- Reviewing packaging copy and artwork information for compliance
- Ensuring products and packaging meet legal, technical and environmental requirements
- Supporting sustainability initiatives and recycling compliance projects
- Maintaining accurate records, version control and internal systems data
- Supporting wider technical and compliance projects across the business
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data and documentation
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience working within administration, compliance, quality, technical or operational environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with SAP or similar systems would be advantageous
- An interest in sustainability, packaging or compliance would be beneficial
